Bouillabaisse

Fish first came to prominence as the front man for British progressive rock band Marillion. With Marillion Fish recorded four studio albums and performed at many concerts between the years 1981 and 1989. Fish left Marillion in 1989 and since that time has carved out a successful solo career releasing a number of highly regarded albums and playing many concerts across the world.

At the time of this double Best of album Fish had just released the album Field of Crows. This double CD covers the career of Fish including three tracks from his Marillion days(Kayleigh, Lavender and Incommunicado) right the way up to his then current studio album Field of Crows. Key tracks included here are Big Wedge, A Gentleman’s Excuse Me and the duet with Sam Brown Just Good Friends.

For those who stopped listening after ‘Vigil…’ or still think the poor man fronts Marillion this is an essential and ideal starting point to a varied solo career. www.getreadytorock.com
